Batch Jobs
- Batch jobs are the primary mechanism that Align.ly Lead-to-Account uses to update fields on Lead and Account. These batch jobs can be scheduled to run daily in the app.
1. Installing from the Salesforce AppExchange
- Go to the Align.ly Lead-to-Account listing on the Salesforce AppExchange: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3A00000G9IMtUAN
- Click "Get It Now"
- When installing, select "Install for All Users" then click "Install".
2. Configuring Tabs, Related Lists, and Page Layouts
3. Updating Email Domains on Accounts
4. Turning on/off "Only Match Confirmed Email Domain(s)"
By default, Align.ly Lead-to-Account has a setting called "Only Match Confirmed Email Domain(s)" turned on.
When on, this feature makes sure that Leads are only matched against Accounts that have had their email domain(s) confirmed (see previous video).
When you first roll-out Align.ly Lead-to-Account in production, we recommend keeping this feature on. However, if you haven't yet confirmed any of your email domains (see previous video), Align.ly Lead-to-Account will not match Leads to any of your Accounts.
Likewise, if you are installing Align.ly Lead-to-Account in a sandbox and want to test the matching, but don't necessarily care about the accuracy, you can turn off this feature.
To turn off the feature, go to Setup (in Salesforce) -> Custom Settings -> Click "Manage" next to Align.ly Lead-to-Account. Then uncheck "Only Match Confirmed Email Domain(s)" and click Save.

8. Integrating Lead Assignment Rules
Lead Assignment Rules are relevant when using the "Set Lead Owner to Account Owner" option in Align.ly Lead-to-Account.
Align.ly Lead-to-Account will update Matched Account and Lead Owner BEFORE Lead Assignment Rules run in Salesforce.
As a best practice, we recommend adding the following rule as the first rule (or what makes sense for your business):
Here's the formula to copy-and-paste:
The configuration of this rule looks like the following:
